CMS has just announced that the Part B premium for 2023 will be $164.90. This is a reduction of $5.20 from 2022. The Part B deductible will also be going down from $233 to $226. This is great news since everything else has been going up because of inflation.
You might be wondering why the Part B premium and deductible would be going down. It is mainly because of the lower than expected spending on a drug called Aduhelm. Aduhelm is a new Alzheimer drug that was added to Part B last year.
